This year Friends Place Richardson is proudly celebrating 15 years of providing quality services and offering exemplary programs for people affected by dementia as well as their families, in Dallas and Collin County.
Friends Place continues to be recognized in the community as a leader in dementia care due to innovative approaches and serves as a clinical practicum site for students from Baylor School of Nursing; UT Dallas-School of Behavior and Brain Sciences, Speech and Language Pathology program; and, Texas Women’s University, College of Nursing and School of Occupational Therapy.
Friends Place Richardson is now contracted with the Dallas Veterans Affairs Community Adult Day Services Program. Please call for more information.

COVID-19 – Policies and Procedures Summary
Since we first began responding and adapting to COVID‑19 in March, Friends Place has made safety a priority for our members and staff. We are re-opening our facility on 8/24/2020 after taking the following measures to keep everyone safe:
– Installed UV light in all HVAC airflow return
– Touchless hand sanitizers placed throughout the building
– Floor markings for social distancing
– Optional mask for all members and staff
– UV sanitizing machines
– Increased cleaning in all high touch areas
